Total before savings would have been   $93.76
Our total out of pocket was   $5.39
We did use $32.29 from our Discover Rewards Gift Card. However the rest was all paid by coupons and by being on the CVS Extra Buck plan. And the great thing is we have $22.44 to spend at CVS the next time we go! |

| I saw it's been a while since we've updated so I thought I'd do a quick post. It will mainly be pictures though. We are all doing well. Darrell has been swamped with work for the last little while. Even though I wish he'd be at home more, I'm glad he has work; especially when many don't. We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby sister the beginning of July. One day when I got out of the shower, I found Lamar playing with the eggs. He also loves to copy everything we do.   Shoes and hats are a big hit with him. One day we went to a park for lunch; he loved the slides.   He was helping me make pie crusts. You can't see it, but the front of his shirt was white with flour.  |

| Looking back over the past year it's amazing how much the Lord has blessed us. Sure, looking at next year is cause for concern but the Lord has promised us he will provide. I guess this whole financial mess has made me look at my own spending habits. Would I be willing to live and eat like my parents did when they were young married. I know that times have changed but money is much more available than it was back then. Somehow, looking around it seems like people learn to live off of what they make. Some people wish they could make $15 to $20 an hour and others wonder how they could make it for that. We always think higher wages is the answer when maybe we should be thinking about how we can live on what we get and to be content with maybe a little less. Just a challenge for you'all. My sisters just left this morning and we will sure miss them. Wednesday, my brother and sister are coming with their families, so we will be looking forward to that. Lamar is growing up so fast it's unbelievable. I am posting some pics for you'all. I hope you had a good CHRISTmas and I want to wish all of you a happy New Year!

| I'm still among the living!!! :) The past few months have been busy but fun. I think I will start with Lamar's 1st birthday. It seems like time goes so fast.  
He loved his cake! :)  
He had a lot of fun with his gifts.  
We also went to Indiana and went to the zoo and got to spend some time with mom and dad while they were at home.  
 Lamar got to spend some time with a friend!  And, he finally got a haircut!! :)   I'm just going to post some random pictures of him.
